I joined the Steve group of UIUC as a postdoc right after taking a doctor’s degree in Ewha Womans University. During the three-year postdoc, I was able to broaden my research area, which was totally different from what I studied in the doctoral program.
After joining the IBS center as a researcher, my research area changed into polymer dynamics and now, I am conducting a study to observe and analyze network dynamic of single polymer at a single molecule level using a high-resolution microscopy.
