I’m a student research assistant in Professor Yoon-kyoung Cho’s FRUITS lab, majoring in Biomedical Engineering with Electrical Engineering minor at UNIST.My research interest revolves around cellular drug delivery, especially exosomes-mediated drug delivery. The big image of my project is harnessing exosomes as a bio-compatible drug carrier to target certain parts of the body.Exosomes, once denoted as cellular waste, turned out to be important in diagnostics. They caught my attention because they are still very mysterious, not much is known about them, and they have a great potential.In IBS CSLM, I feel like everyday is a part of my learning journey, uncovering new knowledge, creating novelties that have the potential to affect our lives.
